DTW ASP2018 Carbine Replica

DTW series replicas were designed with the purpose of perfecting the
classic mechanism known from electric replicas and the creation of an efficient
training tool. A tool that would still remain a replica, however, one that
would resemble a live firearm as much as possible. It is an excellent choice
for any User that is looking for a maximum level of realism.

The replica makes a striking impression with its well-fitted elements
from the very first moment it is taken out of the box and put in the hands of
the User. There are no loose spots, be that between two parts of the receiver,
or the stock, or the handguard. The majority elements of the replica were
made of metal (including aluminum). Parts made of black, matt polymer
include the pistol grip, stock and handguard.

The replica is very well balanced, its size is compliant with the live
firearm original in 1:1 scale, also the weight is very similar. Thanks to
the retaining of the original size, it is possible to use many parts and
accessories dedicated for the live firearm original, for instance, the
charging handle.

ASP2018 is equipped with
a telescopic, multi-position SF stock. Thanks to its adjustable length
it can be adapted to the body type and User preferences. It has a finish
in the form of a rubber, anti-slip panel. The battery is stored inside the
stock. Power cables feature a T-connect coupling.

DTW offers the possibility of the muzzle velocity adjustment. It is
conducted using exchangeable cylinders – the set includes a blue cylinder
that provides the replica with ~400 FPS. In order to change the cylinder,
all that is necessary is to remove the assembly pin, split apart the two parts
– the receiver and the trigger box. Afterward, pull back the charging handle,
which pulls the cylinder to the outside of the receiver. The entire procedure
lasts literally several seconds.

The replica does not feature a typical gearbox, but a significantly
modified, reinforced mechanism. Instead of a standard trigger box, an
electronic system has been implemented that provides a very fast reaction
time to a squeeze of the trigger. The system controls the gearbox cycle and
even cuts power when ammo runs out – aside from an increased realism, it also
protects the battery from an excessive discharge. The entirety is powered by an
efficient neodymium motor. 

The replica, of course, features a Hop-Up system and it is regulated using
a hex screw located inside the magazine well. DTW ASP2018 uses a 363
mm long internal barrel.

The replica comes with a Mid-Cap, metal magazine with a capacity of up to
120 BBs. The magazine fits very tightly in the magazine socket and upon the
press of a button, falls out thanks to its own weight. After the last BB has
been fired, the replica’s mechanism stops. In order to resume firing after inserting
a new, full magazine, it is necessary to press the bolt catch in order
to release the lock. Exactly as in the original.

Thanks to an array of the aforementioned solutions, it was possible to
bring the appearance and operation of the airsoft replica to that of the
original firearm as closely as possible.ASP2018 will surely be
appreciated by realism enthusiasts, while the accuracy of external finish
should also accommodate even the most aesthetically demanding Users.
