SVD – KA-AG-98 Sniper Rifle Replica

A
high quality sniper rifle replica made by King Arms. Made from a zinc
and aluminium alloy, ABS polymer and steel. The external
barrel was made from aluminium together with the front sight base, muzzle
brake, rear sight and the receiver. Steel parts include the dust cover,
magazine and trigger guard. The stock itself was made, like the front cradle,
from polymer. In addition, it is equipped with a comfortable cheek pad. 

The external craftsmanship is characteristic for replicas of Soviet fire arms –
the appearance of external elements is rigorous and polymer elements appear
very durable. The receiver features a mount for optics that allows to attach,
for instance, a characteristic for this model PSO-1 scope.

The replica is powered by a single, 12 g CO2 capsule, which allows it to
achieve a muzzle velocity of around 380 FPS, which in combination with a
560 mm long barrel provides very good cone of fire and repeatability of
shots. The capsule is placed under the dust cover in a special container that
provides excellent sealing when connected to the replica’s valve.

Access to the hop-up chamber is gained in a traditional way after pulling back
the charging handle or removing the dust cover. The set is complemented by a
magazine in steel casing with a capacity of up to 50 BBs.
