The Trident PDW MK2 is the most compact carbine in the Krytac family, designed for maximum maneuverability in CQB games. This AEG is equipped with a short, 5.5-inch outer barrel and a 5-inch free float Defiance TR105 handguard in the KeyMod standard. The aluminum, matte-finished receiver has Krytac markings and is compatible with standard AR/M4 (STANAG) magazines. Its other advantages are the fire mode selector on both sides and the working bolt-catch, which will facilitate access to the hop-up system of the replica. The Krytac rotary hop-up system has 15 numbered settings that allow you to precisely select the BB spin settings to the current needs of the user. The replica’s battery is housed inside a unique buffer tube, which has been enlarged in relation to the traditional design – thanks to this, we can use larger battery sizes. The Trident PDW has an adjustable, 2-position stock and a tuning trigger.

Inside we find a reinforced v.2 gearbox based on 8mm ball bearings. The gearbox is equipped with an integrated MOSFET that regulates the operation of the electronics and the trigger system. The shape of the gearbox skeleton has been designed to protect the structure against cracks to the maximum extent. The frame additionally has an inspection window on the left side, allowing you to view the correct operation of the system and its maintenance (lubrication) without unscrewing the gearbox.
Another valuable advantage of the Krytac replica is the quick spring replacement system – the modular guide allows you to change the main spring without unscrewing the frame. The piston in the Krytac replica is made of a very durable and lightweight polymer material with 4 metal teeth. The cylinder head has an enlarged rubber bumper that optimizes the operation of the system and absorbs the energy generated by piston strokes. The material from which the gears are made has been specially selected to obtain maximum strength. Hardness tests according to the Rockwell scale showed much higher than normal results for Krytac gears. The whole thing is powered by an efficient high-torque engine that can perform up to 30,000 revolutions per minute.
