The ASG CZ-75 Shadow 2 CO2 Blowback slide is made of anodized aluminum and features a less rounded and more angular design, accompanied by a slight increase in weight due to a wider body. Added weight and a sharper slide construction ensure better recoil control and allow shooters to make more precise hits. The external slide serrations are deeper and more pronounced, providing a firmer grip when manipulating the slide. The checkering on the front and rear of the pistol grip is also more prominent and, combined with CNC-machined zinc alloy grips that are slimmer in profile, contributes to a better and firmer pistol grip. The trigger guard is enlarged for easier access to the trigger, allowing more comfortable control even with gloves. Additionally, the Shadow 2 features a new grip angle, deeper at the beavertail. Along with a new cutout in the trigger guard, the Shadow 2 allows for a firm grip in the shooter’s hand, contributing to better recoil management. The enlarged magazine catch is adjustable in three positions, regulated with a hex screwdriver. The profile of the magazine catch is also more distinctive, providing positive confirmation when pressing the release. The Shadow 2 model, like its real counterpart, is popular among competitive shooters in IPSC.
