CM121 is a replica made from metal elements and polymer. Metal parts include the slide, RIS rail and a magazine. Polymer parts include: the body and pistol grip panels. The RIS rail attached under the barrel allows for the attachment of additional equipment, e.g. a flashlight or a laser sight. The replica is an alternative for gas models. The pistol is powered by a 7.2V battery instead of gas and operates in a similar way as AEG rifle replicas. The firing mechanism is based on an electric motor placed vertically in a grip and a battery, whose cradle is located beneath the barrel. The replica features the ability to fire in semi-auto and full-auto modes.
