Description

The Forward Assist button is located on the right side of the upper half of the AR15 body. It is used in real firearms for manually engaging the bolt after manually charging/loading the weapon before the first shot. It ensures thorough chambering of the round, preventing weapon failure or damage.
For GBB gas blowback AR15 rifles, this button (unlike AEG rifles) is also functional and serves the same purpose, that is, pushing the bolt and nozzle more into the chamber, ensuring better sealing and proper feeding after the initial weapon charge. This is particularly important, as often, out of love for our weapons, we charge them slowly and do not let the bolt return at full speed. Subsequent engagements will be taken care of by the gas and the recoil (Blowback) of the weapon.
EPeS pad allows the Forward Assist button to press the bolt with nozzle 1mm deeper into the Chamber. Understanding the principles of GBB weapon function is necessary for installation.
