The Spyder 10″ KeyMod carbine replica is a innovative design introducing new generation hybrid gearbox named “Silver Edge Gear Box”. Spyder is built basing on a typical structure from family of American carbines and equipped with more and more popular KeyMod modular front rail system.

The long top 22mm RIS rail allows installation of various aiming devices. The set includes Fiber Optic flip-up type angular iron sights. These sights are note-worthy because they are angular, which means the won”t get in the way of aiming with optical sights and additionally allow for shooting in low and high profile – they can be set in two positions.

The aforementioned KeyMod system is probably the most characteristic feature of the replica. KeyMod means it is a universal mounting platform allowing the carbine to be adjusted to individual user preferences. It is a “open-source” project developed by Eric Kincel. The KeyMod may be complimented by different segments, eg. RIS rails (KeyMod nuts) in various positions and any configuration, thanks to cuttings placed around the module (KeyMod slots). The set includes 3 of these 22mm RIS rails.

The replica is fitted with telescopic SF type stock with adjustable length, the accumulator storage is located inside the stock. The front as well as back tactical sling attachment points were made from steel. They are located on stock and rail module. The carbine is equipped with special enlarged charging handle.

The replica”s heart is the new “Silver Edge” type gearbox. During the production process the unique technology was used for most precise polishing and finishing of the gearbox” elements. This have great impact on increasing efficiency and durability of the whole system thanks to decreasing friction and hence increasing smooth work of the elements. Additionally the gearbox has quick main spring change system which allows the user to change muzzle velocity without the need to open the gearbox. Despite all this the design is fully compatible with all most of the aftermarket tuning and spare parts sets in TM v.2 standard, which means easy tuning when in need .

The reinforced gears were put on 8 millimeter metal bearings, also inside there is piston head with bearing and spring pipe with bearing. The electric system is composed from silver plated low resistance wires and motor equipped with metal core. The cylinder and half-precision 6,04mm barrel were made from stainless steel.

The replica is equipped with EBB – Electric Blow Back system imitating work of the bolt. It increases the realism when using the replica, making it closer to the real firearm and more fun to shoot.

The set includes 300 bb”s polymer hi-cap magazine.
