Opticon Universe is a professional astronomical telescope for home use, recommended to both amateurs and professionals. The instrument is equipped with a primary mirror of 114mm aperture and 1000mm focal length. The tube, made of resilient alloy, is mounted on a full size aluminum tripod with a parallactic EQ-II head. This particular type of head makes finding objects in the sky extremely easy and precise, if atlas coordinates are used. Following objects is enabled thanks to convenient slow motion controls. This model is also equipped with a finderscope.

Opticon Universe makes it possible to notice many objects from so-called Deep Space, such as galaxies. It is also perfect for watching planets. Thanks to this you are able to see straps of clouds on a surface of Jupiter, Saturn”s planetary rings, Mars” disc or Venus” phases.

Opticon Universe equipped with a large mirror and a Barlow lens shows numerous impressive details on a surface of the Moon: mountains, seas, ravines and thousands of craters. A special, replaceable contrastive filter improves quality of image when the Moon is full.

The equipment is compatible with professional components of 1.25″” standard, thanks to which a gradual extension of the set with additional accessories is possible.

With the help of an erecting eye-piece, the telescope can be used for natural and landscape observations (birds, planes, remote buildings etc.)
