RK47 Wood Assault Rifle Replica

An assault
rifle replica by G&G from a Top Tech
line – a group of high quality replicas,
addressed to the most demanding users. Made with the utmost care for detail
with the use of highest quality materials – in this case steel and wood. Among other RK replicas offered by G&G, this
one is easily one of the best specimens.

Parts fit very well together so there are no
loose places and it is very difficult to break or lose anything. The most basic
and most characteristic feature of RK47 Wood is, as the name implies, the
presence of natural, lacquered wood in its stock, pistol grip, gun cradle and
gas pipe overlay – exactly as in the original firearm. The rest of the replica
is practically made entirely from metal. The receiver was made from an alloy of
zinc and aluminium, while the slide, magazine, buttpad, fire mode selector,
cleaning rod dummy and trigger guard were all made from steel.

The replica
features a side rail, so-called “dovetail joint”, which allows for attachment
of dedicated (also those originally intended for live firearms) optical sights
or universal 22mm RIS mounting rails. RK47 has a set of regulated, fixed sights
and metal clasps for tactical sling. Access to the Hop-Up chamber is gained
traditionally by pulling back the cocking handle.

RK47 is
equipped with a PBB – Pneumatic Blow
Back system, known from many other replicas by G&G. This system sets in
motion the slide after each shot, which further increases realism and provides
additional experience during firing. Pneumatic Blow Back operates by directing
some of the compressed air from the geabox into a special cylinder located
under its skeleton. The cylinder then powers and sets the slide in motion.

The battery
is located inside the fixed stock. In order to gain access one must simply
unscrew the buttpad, attached with two screws.

Top Tech
series means also superb internal parts. The replica uses a specially modified and reinforced V3 gearbox with 8mm ball bearings,
steel fire mode selector plate and an array of reinforced parts: metal
gears, piston, piston head and cylinder. Hi
Torque engine 25000 provides high rate of fire, however, effectiveness is
ensured by a 445mm long, precision barrel with a top class Hop-Up chamber and
packing. Tight with well fit parts, this gearbox allows the replica to achieve a muzzle velocity of about 405FPS
straight out of the box.

Apart from
the replica, the set also includes a
steel, high capacity (500 BBs) magazine.
